New Season; New Board

C:WindowsTempphp4A70.tmpAhead of the new season a new SPFL Board had to be voted on. Today's league Annual General Meeting was the ideal time for the 42 clubs to make the decision on the six club representatives who will act on behalf of the leagues they play in. The SPFL Board includes three Ladbrokes Premiership representatives, two from the Ladbrokes Championship and one covering Ladbrokes League 1 and Ladbrokes League 2. 

The six club representatives join SPFL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster, SPFL Chairman Ralph Topping and independent non-executive director Karyn McCluskey for a year and will steer the SPFL over 2016-17

The elected representatives are as follows.

  • Ladbrokes Premiership representatives: Peter Lawwell (Celtic), Ann Budge (Hearts) and Ian Maxwell (Partick Thistle
