Playing to the final whistle paid off for Ross County
Vigurs said: "We are undefeated this year, we want to continue that. It shows how resolute we are as a team - we've really dug our heels in this year and we've just got to keep on picking up points, like we did today. We've got a good side, we've got some good young players. The big boy up front (Michael Ngoo) was a handful but we got a good point. The boys are always going to give 110 per cent, and that's what they did. Against Hibs we managed to go a goal ahead and not concede. We could have done that (against Hearts), but they have some quality players. There isn't that much now between ourselves and the teams in the top half of the league. If we had got a win we would have been sitting pretty. The first objective was to stay in the league and pick up points, that's what we are doing most weeks. We'll keep going about our business game by game and we'll do all right."
Hearts youngster Callum Tapping impressed with another mature performance but was disappointed with the result. He said: "It was a good game, we were unlucky to lose the goal in the last minute, it was a bit of a letdown." Tapping is one of the youngsters who Hearts have had to promote to the first team but who have not let manager John McGlynn down. Tapping said: "I've enjoyed it, it's been a great experience so far. The more experienced players have been brilliant, they've helped me a lot. It's always good to play but there are other players knocking on the door, it keeps me on my toes. I'd love to stay in the team for the League Cup final but it's the gaffer's decision."
