James Grady and Allan McManus are making a great case for getting the Morton job but coming up against Ross County may not make it easy to get all three points for the third time in a row.
Morton are still looking for somebody to take over from Davie Irons and will have caretaker managers James Grady and Allan McManus in the dug out again as they welcome Ross County. The pair have recorded six points since they took over but have some injury worries ahead of today's game. Dominic Shimmin and Brian Wake are major doubts as they are still struggling with hamstring injuries and look set to miss out again. McManus said: "Myself and James are in charge until the chairman tells us otherwise. We will just prepare the team the best we can. I'd be lying if I said we wouldn't be interested in the job. But it is not about James Grady and Allan McManus. It is about Morton Football Club and getting the players back playing the way we know they can."

Ross County manager Derek Adams has some selection headaches of his own ahead of the game. Richard Brittain and Steven Craig are struggling to shake off injuries picked up a fortnight ago, Steven Watt is suspended while Stuart Kettlewell is still on the sidelines with a knee injury. Adams said: "There is nothing we can do except get on with it, and Morton have proved in the last couple of weeks that they will be very hard to beat." | Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)
