Hamilton Accies longest serving player, defender Grant Evans has signed a new deal at the club for a further season. However he will not be starting the season in an Accies strip as will spend the first few months out on loan at First Division Greenock Morton.

The defender will be playing for the Cappielow side on a standard temporary transfer until the start of the New Year. New Douglas Park Coach Stuart Taylor said: "Grant will benefit from regular first team football at a good level under Allan Moore.”
