Jamie Murphy liked the feeling of scoring for Motherwell and would like to enjoy it on a regular basis

Motherwell's Jamie Murphy is looking forward to adding to his goal tally after breaking his duck against Llanelli on Thursday night. Murphy came off the bench to seal with win against the Welsh side after John Sutton has scored a brace to ease manager Jim Gannon's fears of being out of Europe before the season had really begun. The second leg of the tie was rather different from the first leg played at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium. Gannon's first game in charge last week ended in a 0-1 reverse which saw Murphy dropped from the starting line-up for the return leg. He is determined to ensure he has a major role to play in the new regime by scoring plenty of goals.

He said: "
It's just good that we won and got through, especially after last week. Now we're just looking forward to the next game. That was my first goal in Europe and my first of the season, so hopefully there are many more to come from me. I was disappointed not to start, of course, but the manager had his reasons. He's the coach and he picks the team, but I'll be looking to start games in future. I think you can tell we're gradually improving and it all bodes well for the future. Hopefully we'll be even better next week."

The next stage on the Europa League path for Motherwell is Albanian side KS Flamurtari in the first leg of the second qualifying round on Thursday. The SPL club have asked fans not to travel to the region due to safety worries. Travellers to Albania are also advised that there has been recent incidents of luggage being reportedly stolen from hotel rooms and public transport. Areas particularly affected are the coastal resorts of Saranda and Vlore - where Flamurtari play their home games. According to the Foreign Office website: "
Public security is generally good, particularly in Tirana, and Albanians are very hospitable to visitors, but crime and violence still represent a serious problem in some areas. You should bear in mind the widespread ownership of firearms."
