Former First Minister, Henry McLeish will publish the findings of part two of his review of Scottish football today. The second phase of the report will focus on structures, leadership and governance within the game. The first part of the former First Minister's review was published in April and primarily looked at and made recommendations about the grassroots of the game in Scotland. The 74-page document, which was commissioned in May 2009 by SFA president George Peat, made a series of recommendations aimed at improving Scottish football. Among them was a call for almost £500million to be spent on facilities for youth and talent development over the next 10 years, with McLeish claiming Scottish football was in "crisis" in terms of facilities and infrastructure. |
