Gary McAllister wants to return to Fir Park.

Gary McAllister would fancy a chance to return to Fir Park as manager. McAllister was approached by John Boyle before Mark McGhee was appointed two years ago. Things were not right for McAllister at the time due to family reasons and amid concerns over working on a small budget at Fir Park. Things have changed for McAllister and he is looking to get back into management after his 11-month tenure at Leeds ended in December.

The former Coventry boss said: "Motherwell are my club and the job appeals to me. I spoke to the chairman before Mark got the job but we'll need to see what happens in the next few days."
