Division Two mideweek games are a rare occurance so Stranraer will hope to travel in hope to make the best of the chance for three points.

25 points separate Peterhead from tonight's opponents struggling Stranraer but that does not mean home manager Neale Cooper is relaxing. The Blue Toon have no fresh injury problems and has a full squad available after the 3-3 weekend draw with Raith Rovers. He said: "Stranraer have been struggling, but they don't make it easy for anyone and if we want to reach the play-offs we have to win our home games." Cooper wants his players to maintain their momentum and secure a place in the end of season play-offs. He said: "Realistically, the championship looks to be out of reach, but we now have a great chance of making it to the play-offs and that's our target at present."

Stranraer manager Keith Knox has a full squad to choose from for the game tonight. He is well aware of the desperate position The Blues find themselves in. They lost 3-1 to Alloa at the weekend after conceding two early goals. Knox, whose starting line-up will be along the same lines as Saturday, knows they cannot afford to give teams a headstart like Saturday again. He said: "We were beaten before we even started as we conceded far too early. That made it easy for them. "If we are to turn the corner we need to start games strongly."
