steve lomasHaving just gotten into the manager's seat at McDairmid Park (and yet to see St Johnstone play under his leadership), Steve Lomas has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant Northern Ireland job. Lomas took on the Perth job after Derek McInnes left for Bristol City earlier this month. he has no plans to compete for the job alongside candidates available to Northern Ireland as a successor to Nigel Worthington.

He said: "I am very happy with the job I have here at St Johnstone. But you have Iain Dowie, Jim Magilton and Michael O'Neil and any of them would do a good job. It's primarily between the three of them, I believe, but I know them all so I am not going to comment one way or the other."
