C:WindowsTempphpD32D.tmpAlex Jakubiak has signed for Falkirk from Watford, subject to international clearance, on a six month loan deal. Jakubiak gradated from the English club's academy before signing his first professional contract with the Hornets in May 2014. There was no timer lost before he made his professional debut, starting the final game of the 2013-2014 Season at home to Huddersfield Town just six days later.  The striker finished the season as top scorer for Watford’s Under-18 side and in the Under-21 Premier League Cup campaign with 23 goals.

Jakubiak had loan spells with Oxford United and Dagenham and Redbridge before returning to Watford in the summer of 2015. In the season that followed, the striker scored 21 goals and was named the club’s 2015/16 Development Player of the Year. More loan time, withFleetwood Town and Wycombe Wanderers, and has agreed to come to Falkirk to gain some first team football and has already spent time training with Paul Hartley’s squad at the end of December.

Manager Hartley said: "
We are absolutely delighted to be able to add Alex to the squad.  He is quick, strong and has an eye for goal. He spent a few days training with us towards the end of December and in that short space of time it was easy to see the quality he has. I am sure he is a player that will excite the Falkirk fans, we have been looking to try and get the deal over the line since he was last with us and I am really pleased to welcome him to the club."

For his part Jakubiak said: "
I am happy to be here and to get the deal done. I came up on Boxing Day for a week or so to train and get a feel for the environment and I really enjoyed it. I was impressed with what I saw.  I have been on loan before, but for me this a chance to stamp my mark somewhere and show that I am capable of playing first team football regularly.  I am very direct in the final third, I am fast, strong and quite aggressive going forward.
