Craig Levein is willing to invest in the future and has made a move to bring some South American rhythm to Tannadice
Argentinean striker Damian Casalinuovo has been offered a contract by Dundee United after he impressed on trial. United manager Craig Levein liked what he saw during during Casalinuovo's two trial periods at Tannadice. The former Velez Sarsfield player doers not have to worry about the red tape associated with gaining a work permit as he holds an Italian passport.
Levein believes Casalinuovo is very much one for the future and said: "I've made my mind up on Damian and we're going to give him a contract. He's been here twice and has impressed me. He's just a young boy and I'd put him in the same category as the likes of Mihael Kovacevic and Andis Shala when they came over. It's an opportunity for him to show what he can do."
