C:WindowsTempphp7357.tmpMiles Storey is now officially an Aberdeen player after the striker signed a two-year deal with the Pittodrie club. After completing his paperwork and meeting his new team mates for the first time, Storey spoke to the media: "It's has obviously been a bit strange the last month or so. I was on my holidays and waiting to come back with the lads, but for whatever reason that hasn't happened. I had my first session today and got that under my belt and hopefully I can catch up with the boys in terms of fitness and sharpness over the next couple of weeks."

Storey is excited about the prospect of more games in the Europa League as Aberdeen will be heading to Luxembourg to take on Fola Esch in the second leg of their tie with a 3-0 cushion from the first leg. He went on: "One of the reasons I was interested in coming to Aberdeen was to play European football. Hopefully the lads do well in the second leg next Thursday and we can get through to the next round. Then hopefully I am ready to be involved. One of the big reasons I am here is because of the manager. That was a major factor. We had a long chat today about football and at the end he asked if I had any questions and I had nothing left to say, it was spot on! All the plans he has in terms of style of football and the way the club is moving forward with the new training facilities and stadium are very exciting. Obviously I knew that Aberdeen is a huge club and it is a great opportunity for me to take my career to the next stage."
