Hearts manager Csaba Laszlo is having to contend with all sorts of problems.

Hearts are waiting to hear if David Templeton had suffered a recurrence of the broken foot which placed the striker on the sidelines all season. He has been on crutches since limping out of training on Monday. Templeton will be seeing a specialist to get to the bottom of the problem but manager Csaba Laszlo is bracing himself for bad news. He said: "
This is a very interesting injury. He had to come out of training on Monday as he was feeling pain in the same place as before and this is a problem for the player. He had an operation after the last injury and will go to see the doctors about it. He had a stress fracture the last time and this can happen with young players. It must be looked at and we need to see what can be done."

There was better news on fellow forward Jamie Mole, who celebrated his return from long-term injury with a goal in a 2-2 draw against St Mirren at Riccarton on Tuesday. Another player who may be able to get a game is midfielder Laryea Kingston, who came through Ghana's World Cup qualifying defeat in Benin unscathed on Sunday. Kingston has been critical of his manager and has been looking to get more game time. Kingston has not played for Hearts this season due to a persistent knee problem and fell out with Laszlo last month by saying he would always put his country before his club after playing for Ghana. He was also recently fined four weeks' wages for criticising Laszlo following a 2-2 draw at St Johnstone in August.

Laszlo said: "
Larry has trained very well and very soon, if his development does not stop and he understands our message, he can play. We have had two weeks' break to work on his fitness. If he is so far ahead he can be back in the squad. At the moment, I am satisfied with his attitude. We damaged a lot of things which, to repair, we had to use a lot of energy. You can avoid this if you are a little more focused and you know what you are doing. I say the same to my children. Don't tell me, 'Sorry', you must use your head. Think before you do something."
