Ki Sung-Yong is in Glasgow for a medical and will take in tonight's game since he is here

Ki Sung-YongCeltic will have a extra fan in Parkhead tonight for the game against Haopel as Ki Sung-Yong will be there to see how his new teammates play without him. The South Korean arrived in Glasgow last night to finalise his £2million move to Celtic from FC Seoul in the next few days, following a medical. He was saying all the right things to keep the fans happy as he says his dream is to score on his debut against Rangers at Parkhead on 3 January. He will see how Celtic play first hand tonight at tonight's Europa League clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Ki said: "If I scored against Rangers, it would be fantastic - the most important moment of my life. It is a dream of mine. I'm going to the Hapoel game and it will be an incredible experience. I don't think I'll forget my first Celtic match. I met Scott McDonald in Korea when Australia were there and he told me about the fans and how passionate they are. I can't wait to feel that emotion for myself."

If the medical does not show up any problems, it is said Ki will sign a three-and-a-half-year deal before heading home to Korea this weekend. He will be back as an official Celtic player later this month. Ki, voted Asian young player of the year, said: "I can promise I'm here to try to win the SPL title. I want to settle into Celtic as quickly as possible so I can help the team right away. And because I am a young player, I have a lot of energy. I do a lot of running. I can pass and shoot and want to be like Steven Gerrard because he's my hero. I can't wait to show what I can do."
