McBride teams up again with John Hughes at Hibs who obvioulsy likes to be surrounded by familiar faces.

Midfielder Kevin McBride, who was out of contract with Falkirk, has signed a two year deal with Hibernian. He started his career at Celtic then moved to Motherwell, he also spent some time at Darlington before joining Falkirk in January 2008. He made over 50 appearances for the Bairns culminating in the Scottish cup final in May against Rangers.

He said: "
I can't wait now to get started as a Hibernian player. I've already had a look at the training facilities and they're amazing."

New Hibs boss Hughes said of McBride: "Kevin is enthusiastic, always available for training and games and still has his best years ahead of him. He's one of the bravest boys on the ball and is not to be messed with on the park. He had a good grounding at Celtic as a youth and his ability to link defence with midfield is second to none."

Hibs confirmed that Brian Rice is another to move from the Bairns to take up the role of Hughes' assistant manager. Yogi certainly isn't hanging around and is beginning to get a good mix into the Edinburgh club as the new season approaches.
