Another sporting book for consideration; this time from ex-Celtic goalkeeper John Fallon. His autobiography, Keeping in Paradise, is published today, 3 September 2015 and looks back at his time at Parkhead under the managerial care of Jock Stein. Fallon joined Celtic in the late 50s and enjoyed the climb to the glory years. He was there when Celtic won the Scottish Cup in 1965 and was the substitute 'keeper for the Lisbon Lions during the European Cup win in 1967. When Ronnie Simpson was injured by a missile from the crowd in South America in the same year, Fallon was called into action and was not found wanting. However, his career suffered after he made crucial mistakes against Rangers in 1968.

Fallon is happy to discuss the black New Year of 1968, the internse psychological warfare of the Old Firm rivalry and the future of the game in Scotland.

'Keeping in Paradise, my autobiography' by John Fallon, with David Potter, is published by Black and White Publishing in paperback priced £9.99, ISBN 978-1-84502-959-3
