Injured Parties On The Mend

Stefan ScougallThe injuries picked up by Livingston pair of midfielders Keaghan Jacobs and Stefan Scougall on Saturday are not as bad as first thought. Which is good news for the players and the club. As a precaution Jacobs spent Saturday night at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness after being injured against Ross County at Victoria Park. However, he was allowed to leave on Sunday after the swelling on his leg went down. He had suffered internal bleeding and will only be out of action on a short-term basis with Scougall likely to be out for only a week after tests showed that no damage has been suffered by his achilles tendon.

Lions manager Gary Bollan said:  "I suppose it is a bit of mixed news in that the injuries are not as bad as first feared but Keaghan will be out for a few weeks and Stefan is very, very doubtful for Partick Thistle on Saturday. They have both done well this season so the sooner they are back the better."
