It appears that anybody who has passed Parkhead in the last few years is being touted as coming back in some capacity.

With the speculation over Tony Mowbray taking over at Celtic Park reaching fever pitch it is not surprising that other previous Celtic heroes are being touted as heading back to Parkhead. The latest name to be given the door stepping treatment by the press is Henrik Larsson who has be mooted as joining up as part of the backroom staff.

However, the Swede's agent has poured cold water on this particular rumour by denying any chance of Larsson moving just yet. Rumours started off on Friday night that the former Hoops striker was being lined up as assistant manager to Mark McGhee. But, as reports claiming West Brom manager Tony Mowbray will be unveiled as Celtic manager in the next 48 hours have gathered credence, Larsson's representative dismissed suggestions of a return to the east end of Glasgow. Agent Rob Jansen said: "
These rumours are not true at all. Henrik is still playing for Helsinborg in Sweden and it's impossible for him to break his contract or be part of anything happening at Celtic right now."

Of course, there will be many Celtic fans who will be hanging onto those last words to suggest that the idea of heading back at some time appeals to Larsson.
