David Wotherspoon is not afraid of hard work and hopes the investment in the Netherlands will be repaid on Thursday.
![]() The versatile teenager said: "The game against Vitesse was important because it was a good work-out and in terms of preparing for Thursday it was a useful exercise. We are still getting our fitness and match sharpness back, so playing the four games in such a short space of time was beneficial. We are expecting the match on Thursday to be played in hot conditions, so it was good to be able to prepare in such a warm climate. Often it can be hard to adjust to the heat, so now we are used to that heading into the game on Thursday. It is really exciting and I cannot wait - hopefully I will get a piece of the action. It is really important that we start off positively and it would be great to get that first win in Europe." |
