Hearts may miss out on Adrian Mrowiec's autograph if the Greek's manage to seal a deal.

Adrian Mrowiec will decide who to sign for this week
Hearts and Greek club Aris Salonika could be in a fight for the signature of Adrian Mrowiec. The Polish midfielder impressed Hearts manager Casbo Laszlo in the final games of last season whilst on loan from FBK Kaunas. Mrowiec is a free agent after being released by the Lithuanian club and is expected to decide his future within the next week. It will not be a done deal as Mrowiec's representatives have already opened discussions with Aris officials.

Mrowiec's agent, Christophe Wortmann, said: "
Adrian has a possibility with the Greek club and we are speaking with them right now about salary and terms of contract. If we agree then he will sign with them. We will have the terms of contract from the Greek club, then we will speak with Csaba. If Csaba wants to have Adrian for next season we must decide which option we use. We want to have a decision next week or perhaps earlier."

Mrowiec's versatility would give Laszlo with options in both midfield and central defence next season. However, Hearts' signing targets will be finalised following meetings in Lithuania between the manager, majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov and sports director Anatoli Korobochka.
