Barry Ferguson wants to clear his head before making any decisions on his future.

There is still some doubts over where Barry Ferguson will be plying his trade next season. Following the stripping of the captaincy and two weeks suspension without pay for his role in the 'Boozegate' saga, Fergsuon has been linked with a summer move. After Rangers won the SPL, Ferguson indicated that he wanted to stay at Ibrox and see out the final year of his contract. Ferguson made his first start for Rangers since his suspension in the final and after the final whistle yesterday he said: "What happens next? I'm going to go away and enjoy a holiday with my family. If that is the end, at least I've come back with my head held high. I made a mistake. I can't turn back the clock."

Tony Mowbray at recently relegated West Brom and former Rangers boss Alex McLeish who manages Premier League newcomers Birmingham are said to be watching development closely. The midfielder said he had endured a difficult couple of months and was reluctant to comment on transfer speculation linking him with a move. He also praised the club's fans for their support following his recent difficulties. He said: "
I didn't think I would get the chance to play again, but I've come back in the last three games. Last week, especially, the way they treated me when I came on for the last half hour (against Dundee United), meant a lot to me. It's great to win a double. It wasn't a great game, but at the end of the day it's all about winning and we've done that."
