Form Teams To Meet

Inverness manager Terry Butcher is keen to emphasis the importance of the collective spirit at the Highland club as he prepares his side to take the final test of their unbeaten away record this year at Hearts on Saturday. Hearts are also on a high having won six straight games with Rudi Skacel, David Templeton and Kevin Kyle to the fore. However, Inverness travel to Tynecastle confident of extending an undefeated SPL run which began last November and has survived challenges at Rangers and Celtic. Saturday's meeting also pits third versus fourth in the SPL, with Butcher looking upwards.

He said:  "We see Hearts as a target for us. We want to peg back Hearts on Saturday and ultimately we want to catch them and go past them. There are some incredible individuals on show on Saturday, but it's all about the team. Our players are very focused on helping the team to do well first and foremost. It's the team that wins. We feel the way we're playing, the way we can play and the spirit we've got, that can go a long way.  They're just an incredible bunch. I can't heap enough praise on them. It's a great club to be at at the moment and a great team to be in."

Last beaten away from home in the league in November 2009 and full of confidence after drawing 1-1 with SPL leaders Rangers last Saturday, Butcher's men are looking to go a calendar year without losing on the road, with only Hearts standing in the way. Butcher added: "It's been an incredible year and we don't want that to stop and I don't think it will stop."

Hearts, too, are in confident mood as they sit three points behind second-placed Celtic in the league. Hearts assistant manager Billy Brown said: "It's a big hurdle we've got to climb on Saturday. (But) the team's playing well, we're defending well, but most of all we've got a cutting edge, we look dangerous and we look like we can score in any game we play against any team. The whole club is on a high at the moment and we'll just try and keep it going."
