Hibs could be losing Steven Fletcher after his discussions with the Clarets
After yesterday's report that Burnley had approached Hibs for striker Steven Fletcher, it now appears the player is in Burnley discussing a possible move to the Clarets.
He had been linked to Celtic since January when a move to the Glasgow giants was knocked back by the Hibernian board and the player was described by his agent at that time to be feeling "let down" by the block.
It is understood that a fee of around £2.8m rising to £3.5 depending on appearances has been agreed by both clubs.
It is no secret of the 22 year olds desire to play in the English Premier League which he describes as "the best league in the world".
It looks very likely now that after agreeing personal terms that a move to the Clarets will be imminent and Fletcher will get his wish of playing in "THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD". | Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)
