Ian McCall has made his move for Iain Flannigan
Former Kilmarnock midfielder Iain Flannigan has signed for Partick Thistle after impressing Maryhill boss Ian McCall during the Jags’ pre-season training and games. Flannigan was involved in games against Queen’s Park and Dumbarton recently and played on Tuesday night as a Thistle side, which included Hearts defender Conrad Balatoni as a trialist, were beaten 3-2 defeat by Airdrie United.
McCall said: “I am delighted to bring Ian here as he can play in a number of midfield positions but he is probably best in a wide right position. He will give us great delivery at set pieces as the fans will see throughout the season.” |
