John Hughes always like to see off Hearts and he is looking forward to another tough challenge today.
Falkirk manager John Hughes is looking forward to heading the Tynecastle again today. The Bairns have have enjoyed some memorable games with Hearts since their return to the SPL in 2005. It looks like being a good game with third placed Hearts in the way of Falkirk extending their six-game unbeaten run. Hughes said: "Tynecastle is a great place to play football. There's always a great atmosphere and the crowd's right on top of you. There are a lot of guys in my squad who relish the thought of playing there. We beat Hearts on our own patch earlier in the season but I'll admit we rode our luck a bit that day. The SPL benefits from a strong Hearts side and they are going very well just now. We know that we'll have to be at our best if we're to keep the unbeaten run going."
Hughes will have to cope without former Jambo Neil McCann as the veteran midfielder has failed to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered against Inverness last midweek. Hughes said: "It would have been great to have Neil fit for this one. He would have loved the chance to take the field at Tynecastle but there's no way we could risk letting him play." | Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)
