Midfielder Scott Robertson has returned to full training with the Hibs squad after a nine-week absence thanks to a knee injury. He has been out of action since injuring his knee in an Under-20s game against with Hearts in February. But the former Dundee United player, who has made 25 appearances for Hibsthis season, is back in training ahead of Saturday's trip to Paisley to take on face St Mirren. Robertson's return will be a huge boost for Hibs manager Terry Butcher, whose side have slid towards the relegation play-off battle on the back of just two wins this year. They now sit just four points ahead of second-bottom Partick Thistle with five games remaining. Owain Tudur-Jones, meanwhile, is also close to regaining full fitness. The Wales midfielder has made two appearances for the Hibs youth side, scoring a free-kick against Celtic last week, since recovering from his hamstring injury.

Hearts forward Dale Carrick knows that he will have to wait to find out if the club can keep him at Tynecastle. Since making his breakthrough into the Hearts first team on the opening day of the season, Carrick has scored four goals for the club. But he is not sure if the club will activate a clause in his contract that will keep him at Tynecastle, and admits his future can only be looked at once Hearts have sorted their off-field problems. Hearts have struggled this season since starting the season on minus 15 points for going into administration. They have been bottom of the league since then and will be playing play Scottish Championship football next season. Hearts' administrator Bryan Jackson is still waiting to meet with Lithuanian creditors Ukio Bankas, which is prolonging the club's effort to come out of administration. Carrick said: "I really hope I've done enough. All I can do is keep playing my best football but I'm delighted with my form right now. And the main thing is what happens off the field. When that's sorted, hopefully we'll get everyone tied up. The Championship will be a cracking test and I'm really looking forward to it."
