Dundee are starting their new football life with a what is a depleted squad with a game against Dunfermline. They welcomed on-loan Jamie Adams back to the club in time to face the Pars after a deal was agreed with St Johnstone. He has been added to interim manager Barry Smith's squad for his first home game in charge against the league leaders. Striker Leigh Griffiths has also been included after shaking off a knock. Smith said: "I have a detailed dossier on Dunfermline and have seen them play so I have a good idea about what to expect. It should be a great game and it would be great if we got the backing of a bigger than normal amount of supporters. The club needs the fans to back them just now.'' |
