dundee jpegA familiar face has returned to Dens Park with the news that former midfielder Mark Fotheringham has returned to Dundee on a deal until the end of the season. The Dundee born player, who began his career at Celtic, spent two years as a Dark Blue between 2003 and 2005, before continuing his career with German side SC Freiburg and FC Aarau in Switzerland.

Fotheringham returned to England in 2007 where he spent two seasons with Norwich City before having a short spell as a Dundee United player which saw him play 3 games ahead of a move to Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus. Another move back to Scotland saw him join Livingston for a 3 month spell where ironically he was sent off in his last game against Dundee at his new home.  Manager Barry Smith said: "I am delighted to bring Mark on board as he adds depth and quality to our squad."
