Back to football business on the park for Derek McInnes as his decision to stay as Aberdeen manager brought immediate dividends as Scott McKenna scored the only goal of the game at Dundee. McInnes missed two days training during the week as he talked with chairman Stewart Milne about the approach from Rangers before reiterating his commitment to the club. McInnes was rewarded for his loyalty in the 48th minute when 21-year-old defender McKenna scored his first Aberdeen goal when he flicked in a Kenny McLean cross. The goal was ultimately enough to take the Pittodrie side above Rangers into second place in the Ladbrokes Premiership. |
