C:WindowsTempphpB6EE.tmpThe Doonhamers from Dumfries twice fought back from a goal down to earn a 2-2 draw at in-form Dumbarton. The seventh-placed Sons, chasing a fourth win in five games in all competitions, went ahead in the 11th minute when Sam Wardrop's cross was headed into his own net by Queen of the South defender Callum Fordyce.

The visitors drew level in the 70th minute when Stephen Dobbie sent Scott Gallacher the wrong way from the penalty spot after Chris Kane had been brought down, but Dumbarton retook the lead with nine minutes to go. Substitute Greg Morrison was the scorer, nodding home past Alan Martin for a goal that looked to have sealed another win for the hosts.  However their advantage lasted barely three minutes before fifth-placed Queens drew level once more, Dobbie's corner going in off Sons midfielder Stuart Carswell, and Dumbarton could not find a winner.
