There is only one Dominik Diamond - thankfully - and you have the chance to read all about his love for all things Celtic.

Back in 2006, Dominik Diamond changed his mind about going through with being crucified. However, the chance to go though with it - without the pain of real nails being driving into his hands - has arrived with the paperback publication of his book 'Celtic & Me – Confessions from the Jungle'. The crucifixion turn around was filmed as part of a documentary on Diamond's search for his God and after watching nine Filipinos suffer, our hero decided he should just pray at the foot of his home-made cross. Perhaps the driving force to confess all was the echo of the boos from the crowd which had gathered to see the nails hit home all those years ago. How many were wearing red, white and blue was not recorded for posterity.
 
For a while back in the last two decades, it appeared you could not move for Diamond and his passionate views on - well nearly everything. He was a quotable talking head on many a programme which meant he set himself up for a fall from grace from at least part of the population no matter what he said. He is used to that as he has never hidden his allegiance to Celtic football club. Much like Andy Cameron being held up as the media friendly face of Rangers for a number of years, Diamond could always be found willing to spout forth his support for Celtic and his strong views against the other half of the Old Firm. Funnily enough, Diamond started out as a Rangers fan but controversially changed allegiance. Glory hunter? Not for me to say I suppose. 
 
In his book, Diamond lays it all out how his allegiance has affected his public and private life. He was the face of the TV programme Games Master where nerds from the early nineties showed just what they could do with video games. Not quite Gears of War but it took them out of their rooms and into the daylight for a while. If you had forgiven Diamond for that you may be interested to read about how his life has been affected by Celtic. 'Celtic & Me' allows Diamond to tell the warts and all  (including stupid beard) story of his spectacular ability to hit the self-destruct button in his own life and media career reflected his journey from child Rangers supporter to being one of the most high-profile Celtic fans in Scotland, and the price he and his family paid for this.
 
It is less than eight quid so why not hang fire on the beers one night and see how mad he drives you.
