C:WindowsTempphp258D.tmpHot off the back of their incredible Champions League win in midweek, City manager Eddie Wolecki Black wants another big game to look forward to. He said: "Following our midweek European game we now have to refocus the squad for another huge game. The Scottish Cup Final is generally regarded as the showpiece event of the season and every club wishes to play in the season finale. Over the past few years we have managed to achieve not only reaching that stage but going on to win the trophy. Hibernian are a side we know very well and they are on their day capable of beating anyone in the country.  We have over the years met in Scottish Cup semi-finals and we both know how it feels to win and lose one. I know the management team very well and they will ensure Hibs are well drilled in the game plan they wish to play. It will take a huge effort by everyone at our club to progress into another final. Both teams are similar in style and like to have possession of the ball. Therefore, I am certain that this will be a fantastic match."

Hibs Head Coach, Chris Roberts hopes his side can make the final. He said: "The competition is one the club has fallen in love with and we hope to continue our success in the Cup by reaching another Final. Our opponents however, are the current holders and we know how good a team they are."

In the other semi-final, Spartans take on Aberdeen with the Edinburgh side in their best vein of form for a number of years. The Dons, however, defeated Rangers to reach this stage of the competition and will not miss out on their first final for a long time without a fight.

City take on Hibernian at 12pm indoors with Spartans facing Aberdeen at the same venue at 3.15pm in the other semi-final. Entry is free of charge for spectators.
