C:WindowsTempphp1A3E.tmpPaul Hartley was disappointed his Dundee side could not take all three points against Celtic at Dens Park on Sunday. Dundee maintained their unbeaten start to the new season with a well-deserved point as they were held at home 1-1 by Celtic. James McPake scored inside the opening minute for the Dark Blues before a goal from Celtic substitute Leigh Griffiths in the second half earned the visitors a draw. Hartley said: "I thought we created the better chances and had good situations, especially in the second half when the boy (Martin Boyle) is through on goal a couple of times. He had an easy pass for a tap-in - but he's got a split-second decision to make. I thought it was a great game of football and I thought we were excellent."

McPake, who headed in a Philip Roberts corner, rued the appearance of  former Livingston and Hibs team-mate Griffiths, who scored with the help of  a deflected drive. McPake said: "I knew he would score when he came on. I spoke to somebody last week and I said I hope he isn't even stripped. He hits the ball so cleanly and if there is somebody two yards in front of him there is a chance it will go in. Maybe if he hadn't have come on we would be sitting here with the three points."
