Gus MacPherson is not thinking tomorrow's game will be easy as he knows the Bairns will be keen to end their run of league games without a win.
He said: "Falkirk not having won an SPL game this season just means that it is a very dangerous game for us. For me they are in a false position. I've personally seen Falkirk on three occasions this season and they have played well, with two wide attacking players and passing the ball. Even when they got beat 4-0 at home by Celtic in the Co-operative Insurance Cup, they played well and it was an even game at 1-0. But it is all about getting results and even Eddie would be honest enough to admit that performances really don't count for too much. It's about getting results." MacPherson had tried to play down his side's home record in the SPL as pressure mounted in recent months but admitted the win and the three points had come as a relief. He said: "It was vital to get the three points. We couldn't keep saying we had beaten SPL opposition in the cup, as we had done, we had to win a league game at home. But I felt we deserved to win the game." | ||
