Some mixed news for Dundee United on te injury front as they prepare to welcome the Bairns

Dundee United striker Jon Daly has been ruled out of tomorrow's game against Falkirk and it looks like he will also miss Tuesday's game with Rangers. The Irishman missed Tuesday night's CIS Cup win over the Pars after suffering a groin strain during the previous day's training. Manager Craig Levein said: "Jon has no chance for Saturday and I am not expecting him back for Rangers on Tuesday either. I don't think he'll miss any more than those two, but it is a bit of a blow."

However, there was some good news on the the injury front for Levein who said: "
Willo Flood and Sean Dillon took thigh knocks against Dunfermline, while Roy O'Donovan got a smack in the face and studs in his thigh, but they will all be okay for Saturday. On Wednesday Garry Kenneth got 90 minutes in the reserves without his knee bothering him and Mihael Kovacevic played with his new face mask. Lee Wilkie also came through on Tuesday without any reaction to his calf strain, so, apart from Jon, we should have pretty much everyone available."
