C:WindowsTempphpBECC.tmpCeltic will take on Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City at home on Saturday, 23 July 23, before more international games against Barcelona and Inter Milan. The game allows new manger Brendan Rodgers to test his team against on the unfancied team which stunned football last season by winning the English Premier League. Captain Scott Brown met up with former Leicester City striker, Emile Heskey to promote the game today which also provided a rare photo opportunity as both league trophies to be on display together.

Brown said that the game will be a good to see how their pre-season preparations have been going. He went on: "We’re really looking forward to the game. It’s a huge event for us, it’s the Scottish champions versus the English champions, and it will be very good for us to see where we are when it comes around, after pre-season and with a new manager, and possibly a couple of new signings as well. It will be a great test for us. We’ll have had a month’s worth of training going into the game, so it will be huge. We’ll see how big the gap is – hopefully it’s not too big and we can do ourselves proud. But we believe that, on the day, we can compete with anybody and with the training we’ve been doing the past couple of days, and hopefully that continues into the games as well, we can show people how good we really are."
