The chance of cup glory comes early for County and Airdrie.

The Alba Cup
The cup that cheers
Two First Division sides meet tomorrow to pick up the first piece of silverware of the season. McDairmid Park hosts the Alba Cup final with Ross County meeting Airdrie United to contest the prize. Airdrie United manager Kenny Black has a full squad at his disposal with defender Bobby Donnelly fully fit again after a foot injury after he played for the reserves in a 2-2 draw with Stranraer at Stair Park on Monday. Black knows his side have the chance to make history and insists his players are totally focused on securing cup glory. Black said: "
We are concentrating on doing well. Hopefully, we can go to Perth and bring the trophy home. The build-up is something you just have to live with but from my point of view, I would rather the game was getting played in an hours time. This is when you earn your money as a manager. There is no room for sentiment, you have to be honest and brutally frank. Some difficult decisions will have to be made."
Ross County could have 'keeper Tony Bullock back in the good books and in goal for tomorrow's final. The Dingwall keeper was suspended by manager Derek Adams for a fortnight last Friday following an alleged training ground bust-up with assistant Ross Jack. But Adams has been forced to recall Bullock after replacement Derek Soutar injured his leg in Saturday's 2-1 loss to St Johnstone. Adams said: "
This is a massive game for both the players and the club as a whole, and the fans can really help by turning up in numbers and getting behind the team. Games like this don't come along every day - it's a real honour to represent the club in a final and we're hoping that it will be a day to remember for everyone, both fans and players alike."
