Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen and Killie defender Tim Clancy have been handed a one-game bans by the SFA's disciplinary committee. Rasmussen was punished for elbowing Kilmarnock defender Frazer Wright while Clancy was punished for stamping on the Dane in a separate incident in the same game, Celtic's Scottish Cup win at Rugby Park last month. Rasmussen has the right to appeal but it looks likely that he will miss the league visit to Dundee United on 25 April. Rasmussen was punished for lashing out at Wright as the Kilmarnock defender held him in the home side's penalty area during Celtic's 3-0 quarter-final win.

Clancy did not attend the meeting so his ban will come into effect seven days after the decision is confirmed in writing, but he is set to miss Killie's crucial clash against relegation rivals St Mirren in Paisley on 24 April if he waives his right of appeal. Both players will also have 12 points added to their disciplinary total after they were found guilty of "misconduct of a significantly serious nature".
