Celtic and Kilmarnock have been punished for misdemeanours.
|
Celtic striker Morten Rasmussen and Killie defender Tim Clancy have been handed a one-game bans by the SFA's disciplinary committee. Rasmussen was punished for elbowing Kilmarnock defender Frazer Wright while Clancy was punished for stamping on the Dane in a separate incident in the same game, Celtic's Scottish Cup win at Rugby Park last month. Rasmussen has the right to appeal but it looks likely that he will miss the league visit to Dundee United on 25 April. Rasmussen was punished for lashing out at Wright as the Kilmarnock defender held him in the home side's penalty area during Celtic's 3-0 quarter-final win. |
