Love Street side, St Mirren wants new players but they have to be the flair type to fit in to Gus MacPherson's plans.

Despite bringing in four new players since the end of the season St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson is still not satisfied he has the squad he would like for the new season. He is looking to add "
creativity" to his squad and is on the look out for the right midfielders to add to the mix. The Buddies have brought in strikers Tom Brighton and Dennis Wyness, Dundee United winger Steven Robb plus former Falkirk captain Jack Ross since the season ended. MacPherson has also been linked with interest in another Falkirk defender, Kenny Milne.

However, the middle of the side looks a bit light and wants to find the players that can add that spark that can change a side from a solid one to a dangerous one. He said: "
We have been able to get four new players in fairly early. But we are still in the market and looking to strengthen the squad. We still have one or two things in the pipeline. We feel that we have got to keep trying to add creativity to the team. We are solid, well-organised, we know we can compete at this level of football, but especially at home, we just need to add that bit of creativity."
