C:WindowsTempphp62C3.tmpSt Johnstone have announced that Liam Craig has put pen to paper on an extended deal to stick with the club through to the end of the 2018-2019 season. He follows in the footsteps of Zander Clark, Richard Foster, Joe Shaughnessy, Brian Easton, Aaron Comrie, Liam Gordon, David Wotherspoon and Steven MacLean in extending his stay with the Perth side.

Craig originally joined Saints in June 2008 following a spell on loan from Falkirk and is in his second spell with the club.  The midfielder is nearing the end of his second season with Saints after his return from Hibs, and is closing in on his 300th appearance for the club and has been involved in all bar two Saints games this season. Craig said: "
I’m delighted that having been back for two years the club has shown this kind of commitment to me and I’m looking to have as much success over the next two years as we are currently enjoying. I think everyone knows my feelings for the club and it is great to have my immediate future sorted."
