don cowieDon Cowie is not one to think that Scotland can just turn up to the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz tomorrow and collect the three points on offer. Scotland need all the points available from their two final EURO2012 qualifying group games with most people looking to the game on Tuesday against Spain as the big one. However, Lichtenstein would be dismissed at Scotland peril. VCowie said: "The fans remember what happened in the last game at Hampden, it took us until the 97th minute before we got the winner. We want to get the three points and hopefully we can do that. But it is not a foregone conclusion, there are no easy games in international football. We will treat Liechtenstein with the respect they deserve."

Alan Hutton has recovered from a knee problem and is in Lichtenstein with the rest of the squad which had a depleted look as it assembled before flying out to Switzerland. Darren Fletcher, who played 90 minutes as Manchester United beat Norwich 2-0 on Saturday, was missing as he is recovering from a bout of  tonsillitis although it is hoped he will be able to play against Spain on Tuesday night. Striker Kenny Miller has a minor tear in his groin and is likely to miss tomorrow's game but the Cardiff striker is also expected to make the game with the world champions in Alicante. Cetic's Scott Brown didn't even make the squad due to his injured ankle. Cowie admits the loss of Brown and Fletcher is a blow but declared himself ready to step into the breach.

He said: "I am disappointed that Darren and Scott have not managed to come out with us for this game. It is a big loss because you are losing your captain and the captain of Celtic Football Club, two excellent players. We obviously would rather have them, they are two influential players but such is football. You get illnesses and injuries and it is something you have to deal with. It is still a strong squad, there are still a lot of players who are ready and capable of coming in and making a difference. We know our job, we know what we have to do. The most important thing is that we get three points. But we have a few days before the manager names the team so we will have to wait and see."
