Comvalius Heads Home

Stirling_Albion_fcFormer Ajax striker Sylvano Comvalius has been released from his Stirling Albion contract early to allow him to head home to the Netherlands and his wife wife who has recently given birth. Comvalius was signed in September and made one start for Stirling and five substitute appearances, however he failed to get on the scoresheet.

Albion manager John O’Neill said: “We would like to thank Sylvano for his contribution which was curtailed somewhat by the weather. His wife has recently had a baby back in Amsterdam and we felt with more postponements in the offing it was only fair to let him go now rather than to wait a few weeks and hope that he gets a new club in the forthcoming transfer window.”
