Dundee manager Paul Hartley was pleased following the 0-0 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday, when the visitors recorded the first clean sheet of the league season. Hartley said: "I'm pleased with the clean sheet. I felt the players were terrific in the second half. The way that we played, we worked together as a team and we created good situations. We were a wee bit wasteful in the final third, not making the right choice with a pass or shot but I’m pleased overall. This (Fir Park) is a difficult venue to come to and to get the first clean sheet of the league season is pleasing also. I thought the team worked really hard today."
Hartley was full of praise for Kevin Gomis following his first appearance in Dark Blue. The manager said: "I thought the goalkeeper and the back four were excellent. I felt Gomis was outstanding. He controlled things, great composure, awareness around him, he sees things early. It was a terrific debut today."
