The Blues have taken English football by storm this season and have lifted the double with the FA Cup and League title in the bag from Emma Hayes star studded side.  Glasgow City go into the game on the back of win on Sunday over Hibs which has all but mathematically secured their ninth League title in a row. With impressive European runs over recent seasons, expectations are high, but City have never faced such a difficult team so early on in the competition and Head Coach Scott Booth knows his side will be facing toughest test

He said: "Chelsea are a top class team who will be full of confidence having just won the league. Our players are looking forward to this challenge. They want to test themselves against the best teams in Europe so our trip to London offers us that opportunity. We have great experience in the dressing room and the value of that is huge in this type of competition."

Whilst City are regulars in Europe, this is Chelsea's debut in the competition and City fans will be hoping their side's experience in the past will help them overcome Chelsea over 2 legs.

Chelsea host Glasgow City this Thursday at 7.30pm at Wheatsheaf Park, Staines Town, London. The return leg is on Wednesday 14th October at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium. Tickets are £10 adult, £5 kids and are on sale via www.glasgowcityfc.co.uk or can be purchased at the turnstile on the night.
