Changes But No Change

C:WindowsTempphp6773.tmpLivingston have been busy in the transfer market today with net no change to the side of the squad. The West Lothian club have signed Gregor Buchanan following his release by St Mirren earlier today.  Livingston manager David Hopkin said "Gregor was on my radar in the summer though St Mirren beat us to his signature, but happy we have him now.  He has a lot of Championship experience from his time at Dumbarton and he is a versatile defender who will definitely strengthen our squad. He can play anywhere along the back 3 or 4.  Gregor will go straight into the match Day squad for Saturday and wear the number 5 shirt."

Meanwhile, heading out of the door was Dale Carrick who has moved to League One side Airdrieonians on a free transfer. Carrick was looking to have more game time under his belt and felt he had to make a move to improve his chances.  Hopkin said: "
Dale is a great lad and the ultimate professional, and he goes with all our best wishes.  I couldn’t guarantee him the game time he needed and he felt he had to move on: that’s football and I’m sure Dale will do well for Airdrie. This frees up a bit of the budget which can now go towards our endeavours to enhance the already strong squad we have."
