There was some doubt about Motherwell's Europa League going ahead due to visa problems but all is well and new boy Chris Humphrey could be playing.

Motherwell meet Flamurtari again tomorrow and hope to overturn the one goal defict from the first leg of the Europa League qualifier. The game could provide Chris Humphrey with an "unbelievable" debut for his new club. Humphrey is available as a wild card addition to Jim Gannon's squad for the second leg against the Albanians after signing from Shrewsbury last week. And he is not lacking in confidence that he can help the Steelmen overturn their 1-0 deficit at Airdrie's Excelsior Stadium. Humphrey said: "
To make my debut in Europe would be just unbelievable. It's something I've never done before and, with the fans right behind us making a lot of noise, hopefully we can make it through into the third round."

Humphrey signed on for three years at Fir Park following his Shrewsbury contract expiring. And he did not need to think twice to join Gannon, who tried to sign him for Stockport. He said: "
To be totally honest, if it wasn't for Jim then the decision to move here would have been much harder. Certainly, it would have taken me longer to think about. As soon as I knew he wanted to bring me here it didn't even take me a second to make my mind up. I turned him down when he tried to take me to Stockport. That one passed me by and I wasn't going to let that happen twice. I told my agent to do whatever it took to get me here as quick as possible. I've only been here two days and already you can see he wants to play attacking football, which for me, as a winger, is brilliant. Hopefully, the way I play can slot right into the new system and we'll create plenty of chances and score loads of goals."
