Can We Start Where We Left Off?

C:WindowsTempphp76D7.tmpAlloa finally welcome Morton in a game that was abandoned last month due to snow when the Wasps were 1-0 ahead. Tonight it is back to all square but home manager  Jack Ross has the chance to add new signing Ryan Finnie to his squad. Ross, however, has lost the services of Scott McKenna, who has returned to Aberdeen at the end of his loan spell, and Michael Doyle who has joined St Johnstone. Ross said: "We played very well in the game and need to play at that level again if we are to get the win this time. Morton are a really good side going forward so we need to snub out their threat and look for our creative players to take the game to them."

Morton manager Jim Duffy is on the lookout for an experienced goalkeeper as Derek Gaston will miss out at the Indodrill Stadium after suffering concussion during Saturday's 4-1 Scottish Cup win at Annan. Knee injuries keep Frank McKeown and Peter MacDonald out of action, with an ankle injury doing likewise for Luca Gasparotto. Duffy said: "I am keen to bring someone in with some experience behind him as this will be a very difficult game. Alloa were well placed to win that game so whilst you cannot guarantee anything this is a bit of a second chance. Alloa have improved further so we have to play well to get the win."
