Clyde have appointed former player and coach Gordon Wylde as their new under-19 coach. Director of Football, Neil Watt was pleased to be able to be able to bring back a familiar face who knows the club inside-out having spent a dozen years with the Bully Wee. Watt said: "The position of under-19 coach is an important one for the club and I’m delighted that Gordon has agreed to come back. The job is one which, especially nowadays, is extremely significant in the life of the club and Gordon brings considerable experience. Hopefully we can benefit from that in the years to come."

Wylde picked up some managerial experience when he spent some time managing East Stirling, although it was his knowledge of the Cumbernauld club that impressed Watt, who went on: "While it is not an essential pre-requisite for the job, it is a positive and pleasing factor to have coaches at the club, who have an affinity with the Bully Wee and experience of pulling on the Clyde jersey. Eddie Annand is already working here and Gordon was keen to move back from his position as St. Mirren's under-17 coach for this vital role."
