Lawrie Sanchez is siad to be interested in working with Motherwell.

The Motherwell board are wanting to take their time to get the right man in post to replace Mark McGhee who moved to fill Jimmy Calderwood's seat at Pittodrie. This allows more out of work managers to get their CV polished off and sent to Fir Park. The latest to show a degree of interest is former Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez. After being out of management for more than a year, Sanchez is keen to get back into the game and would welcome a chance in Scotland's top flight.

He said: "
The Motherwell post is one I would not rule out. The time is right to get back into the game. I'm on the lookout for a fresh challenge. As a former Northern Ireland manager, I watch the SPL and players like Steven Davis and Kyle Lafferty. I've noticed there have been quite a few jobs going in Scotland in recent weeks. I have made a bit of money earlier in my career and it's the love of the game that keeps me going. I am interested in the chance to experience something different so a move to the SPL would absolutely interest me."
