C:WindowsTempphp7184.tmpAlloa Athletic have decided to replace their artificial pitch at the Indodrill Stadium during the close season. The club are not going back to grass but renewing the artificial surface and intend to use the same companies as when they first moved away from grass. Work is set to start on 2 May and is planned to be completed by 4 June, well ahead of the start of the 2016/17 season, which begins with revamped League Cup on 16 July.

Alloa chairman Mike Mulraney said: "Having put our faith in Greenfields and Allsports nine years ago when we laid our existing pitch, we have been so pleased by the surface that we have once again selected the same team to provide our new surface. Despite both club and community use, our pitch has continued to perform to the very highest FIFA standards, which made this decision very easy. The Greenfields surface stood out as the best on the market and we look forward to another long association with these companies."
